Bethel
Baptist Church has been a part of the Northland area of Kansas City and
Liberty area for over 130 years now. They
share a rich history of ministry in the surrounding area.
Bethel has a lot of heart. Thus,
we are not only the traditional “Friendly Church on the Hill” but we are
“Caring Hearts in the Heart of America.”
Bethel seeks to make a difference in the lives of people in our
community. We provide sound
Biblical ministry opportunities, social action in the community such as
providing food to local agencies like City Union Mission, ministry to the teenage boys in the
correctional facility down the road from the church, and many other exciting
and meaningful activities.

Statement
Bethel Baptist Church provides a unique forum for people to inquire, and discover the joy and peace of becoming personally introduced to Jesus Christ. Bethel Baptist Church is the answer to an increasing demand for reality and faith in organized worship.
The public wants: (1) Access to the truth of the Bible with honest and informative answers to life's issues.
Bethel Baptist Church strives to provide Bible studies and messages that address those
issues. (2) Access to a church support network in such a way that they aren't socially, economically, or racially isolated.
Bethel Baptist Church's goal is to provide the community with a Christian based worship, social action, educational opportunities, all couched within a safe, relaxed, casual atmosphere based on the Word of God, the Bible. Bethel seeks to lead all of its members and friends to place their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for all aspects of their personal lives and to support global and homeland mission efforts both financially and through personal involvement.
