In this Palm Sunday sermon from Psalm 118, we are reminded that God is worthy of our praise in every season of life. Even when circumstances feel unstable or discouraging, His steadfast love endures forever and does not change.

Psalm 118 calls God’s people to prepare their hearts for worship by remembering who He is and what He has done. Whether you feel close to God or distant like you are coming out of a long winter, this passage directs us back to truth: our circumstances do not define reality, God does.

In this message, we see five reasons God is worthy of our praise:
• He is our strong helper
• He is our trustworthy helper
• He is our empowering helper
• He is our merciful helper
• He is our gracious helper

All of this finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ, the King who entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. The crowds cried out from Psalm 118, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord,” pointing to the One who would be rejected, crucified, and raised again to bring salvation.

Join us as we prepare our hearts for Easter and are reminded that no matter what season we are in, God is worthy of our praise.
